For example, as part of our fraud prevention efforts, we scan and analyze messages to mask contact information and references to other sites. In some cases, we may also scan, review, or analyze messages to debug, improve, and expand product offerings. We use automated methods where reasonably possible. Occasionally we may need to manually review communications, such as for fraud investigations and customer support, or to assess and improve the functionality of these automated tools. We will not review, scan, or analyze your messaging communications to send third-party marketing messages to you and we will not sell reviews or analyses of these communications.

If you connected your Veyhic Account to a third-party service, like Facebook or Google, you can change your settings and unlink from that service in your Account settings. This Extenuating Circumstances Policy explains how cancellations are handled when unforeseen events beyond your control arise after booking and make it impracticable or illegal to complete your reservation.
When this Policy allows for cancellation, it controls and takes precedence over the reservation’s cancellation policy. Renters that are impacted by an event covered by this Policy can cancel their reservation and receive, depending on the circumstances, a cash refund, travel credit, and/or other consideration. Agencies that are impacted by an event covered by this Policy can cancel without adverse consequences, but, depending on the circumstances, their calendars may be blocked for the dates of the cancelled reservation.
This Policy uses the term “Event” to refer to the following situations that occur after booking, are unforeseen at the time of booking, and prevent or legally prohibit completion of the reservation.
Everything else. This Policy only allows for cancellations for the Events described above. Everything else is excluded. Examples of situations that this Policy does not allow cancellations for include: unexpected disease, illness, or injury; government obligations like jury duty, court appearances or military duties; travel advisories or other government guidance (that fall short of a travel ban or prohibition); cancellation or rescheduling of an event for which the reservation was made; and transportation disruptions unrelated to a covered Event like road closures, as well as flight, train, bus and ferry cancellations that prevents you for picking-up the vehicle. If you cancel a reservation in these cases, the amount refunded will be determined by the cancellation policy that applies to the reservation.
If we notify you or publish information confirming that this Policy applies to your reservation, please follow the cancellation instructions that we provide. When we have notified you or published information about how this Policy applies, you should have the option to cancel under this Policy by going to your Reservation page and canceling the impacted reservation. If you believe this Policy applies to your reservation, but we have not notified you or published information about the Event, please contact us to cancel your reservation. In all cases, you should be prepared to provide documentation that shows how the Event has impacted you or your reservation.

The Veyhic community is committed to building a world where people from every background feel welcome and respected. This commitment rests on two foundational principles that apply both to Veyhic’s Agency Managers and Renter: inclusion and respect.
Our shared commitment to these principles enables all members of our community to feel welcome on the Veyhic platform no matter who they are, where they come from, how they worship, or whom they love. Veyhic recognizes that some jurisdictions permit, or require, distinctions among individuals based on factors such as national origin, gender, marital status or sexual orientation, and it does not require Agency Managers to violate local laws or take actions that may subject them to legal liability. Veyhic will provide additional guidance and adjust this nondiscrimination policy to reflect such permissions and requirements in the jurisdictions where they exist.
While we do not believe that one company can mandate harmony among all people, we do believe that the Veyhic community can promote empathy and understanding across all cultures. We are all committed to doing everything we can to help eliminate all forms of unlawful bias, discrimination, and intolerance from our platform. We want to promote a culture within the Veyhic community—agencies, renters and people just considering whether to use our platform—that goes above and beyond mere compliance. To that end, all of us, Veyhic employees, Agency Managers and Renters alike, agree to read and act in accordance with the following policy to strengthen our community.
As a general matter, we will familiarize ourselves with all applicable federal, state, and local laws that apply to transporation. Some jurisdictions may have additional legal requirements that expand or limit the civil right protections of the user community. Agencies are required to comply with such legal requirements. Agencies should contact Veyhic customer service if they have any questions about their obligations to comply with this Veyhic Nondiscrimination Policy. Guided by these principles, our Agency community will follow these rules when considering potential Renters:
Veyhic does not assign a gender identity to our users. We consider the gender of individuals to be what they identify and/or designate on their user profiles, and we expect our Veyhic community to do the same. This includes respecting the pronouns (he/him, she/her, they/them, etc.) any users within the community identify themselves with.
Agencies may not:
Agencies should keep in mind that no one likes to be turned down. While an Agency Manager may have, and articulate, lawful and legitimate reasons for turning down a potential Renter, it may cause that member of our community to feel unwelcome or excluded. Agencies should make every effort to be welcoming to Renters of all backgrounds.
In communicating any such restrictions, we expect Agencies to use clear, factual, non-derogatory terms. Slurs and insults have no place on our platform or in our community.
If a particular listing contains language contrary to this nondiscrimination policy, the Agency will be asked to remove the language and affirm his or her understanding and intent to comply with this policy and its underlying principles. Veyhic may also, in its discretion, take steps up to and including suspending the Agency from the Veyhic platform.
If the Agency improperly rejects Renters on the basis of protected class, or uses language demonstrating that his or her actions were motivated by factors prohibited by this policy, Veyhic will take steps to enforce this policy, up to and including suspending the Agency from the platform.
As the Veyhic community grows, we will continue to ensure that Veyhic’s policies and practices align with our most important goal: To ensure that Renters and Agencies feel welcome and respected in all of their interactions using the Veyhic platform. The public, our community, and we ourselves, expect no less than this.
The Nondiscrimination Policy applies to all parts of the Veyhic business. We recognize there are additional considerations that need to be made for varied offerings in the Veyhic Community.
As long as cancellation is made before the pick-up time, the Renter will receive a 10% refund of the total price.
What if I cancel after the pick-up time?
We may be able to issue a refund if a guest has to cancel because of an emergency. Please refere to our Extenuating Circumstances Policy. .
Are services and protections refunded after the cancellation time limit?
Services and protections are fully refunded even if you cancel after the cancellation time limit.
Can Renters get a full refund if the Agency can’t or won’t fix an issue?
Renters should contact us within 24 hours of finding the issue. In qualifying cases, we will cancel a reservation and issue a refund.
Can Renters get a refund if the Vehicle isn’t what was expected?
If the Vehicle is missing equipments or the Listing describes misleading characteristics, we’ll help Renters find a new Vehicle or issue a refund..
How long does it take to get a refund?
We send refunds immediately upon cancellation and they usually show up within 3-5 days, but sometimes it takes as long as 15 days before they reflect on the original payment method. In some countries, it can take up to 2 months for the refund to arrive.
What if I’m not sure what my reservation’s cancellation policy is or the policy doesn’t appear here? /b>
We occasionally let Agencies try new policies that we’re testing. Always refer to your Official Rental Contract.
These terms and conditions govern Veyhic’s policy for Renter refunds (“Renter Refund Policy”) and the obligations of the Agency associated with the Renter Refund Policy. The Renter Refund Policy applies in addition to Veyhic’s Terms of Service (“Veyhic Terms”). The Renter Refund Policy is available to Renters who book and pay for a Vechicle through the Veyhic Platform and suffer from an Issue (as defined below).The Renter’s rights under this Renter Refund Policy will supersede the Agency’s cancellation policy.
All capitalized terms shall have the meaning set forth in the Veyhic Terms or Payments Terms unless otherwise defined in this Renter Refund Policy.
By using the Veyhic Platform as an Agency or Renter, you are indicating that you have read and that you understand and agree to be bound by this Renter Refund Policy.
A “Issue” means any one of the following:

If you are a Renter and suffer an Issue, you are covered by this policy as follows:
Veyhic’s decisions under the Renter Refund Policy are final and binding on Renters and Agencies but do not affect other contractual or statutory rights you may have. Any right that you may have to initiate legal action remains unaffected.
To submit a valid claim for an Issue and receive the benefits with respect to your booking, you are required to meet each of the following conditions:
If you are an Agency, you are responsible for ensuring that the Vehicles Rental Services you list on the Veyhic Platform are adequately and accurately described in the Listing description, safe and clean, and do not present a Renter with Issues, as specified in these terms and in the Renter Refund Policy Help Center article. During a Renter’s Vehicle Rental Service, Agencies should be available, or make a third-party available, in order to try, in good faith, to resolve any Issues or other Renter issues.
If you are an Agency, and if (i) Veyhic determines that a Renter has suffered an Issue related to a Vehicle Rental Servicelisted by you and (ii) Veyhic either reimburses that Renter (up to their Total Fees) or provides an alternative Vehicle to the Renter, you agree to reimburse Veyhic up to the amount paid by Veyhic within 30 days of Veyhic’s request. If the Renter is provided to an alternative Vehicle, you also agree to reimburse Veyhic for reasonable additional costs. You authorize Veyhic to collect any amounts owed to Veyhic by reducing your Payout or as otherwise permitted pursuant to the Payments Terms.
As an Agency, you understand that the rights of Renters under this Renter Refund Policy will supersede your selected cancellation policy. If you dispute the Issue, you may notify us in writing or via telephone and provide us with information (including photographs or other evidence) disputing the claims regarding the Issue. In order to dispute an Issue, you must use reasonable and good faith efforts to try to remedy any Issue with the Renter unless Veyhic advises you that the Issue cannot be remediated or the Renter has returned the Vehicle.
No Assignment/No Insurance. This Renter Refund Policy is not intended to constitute an offer to insure, does not constitute insurance or an insurance contract, does not take the place of insurance obtained or obtainable by the Renter, and the Renter has not paid any premium in respect of the Renter Refund Policy. The benefits provided under this Renter Refund Policy are not assignable or transferable by you.
Modification or Termination. Veyhic reserves the right to modify or terminate this Renter Refund Policy, at any time, in its sole discretion. If Veyhic modifies this Renter Refund Policy, we will post the modification on the Veyhic Platform or provide you with notice of the modification and Veyhic will continue to process all claims for Issues made prior to the effective date of the modification according to the then applicable policy.
Entire Agreement. This Renter Refund Policy constitutes the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between Veyhic and you regarding the Renter Refund Policy and supersedes and replaces any and all prior oral or written understandings or agreements between Veyhic and you regarding the Renter Refund Policy.

Copyright Policy Notification of Copyright Infringement Veyhic ('Veyhic') respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same.
It is Veyhic’s policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the account or access of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.
In accordance with the Moroccan Copyright Act of 2014, the text of which may be found on the Legal and Judicial of the Ministry of Justice of Morocco here, Veyhic will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Veyhic website and mobile application (the 'Site and Application') that are reported to Veyhic’s Designated Copyright Agent, identified in the sample notice below.
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Site and Application to Veyhic’s Designated Copyright Agent. Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, Veyhic will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged material from the Site and Application.
